The Misteries of Columbus

This important exhibition of contemporary sculptures can be seen at the city centre in Jerez. Before its arrival to the city it could be seen in New York, Barcelona, Madrid or Paris. Here you have a slide with the sculptures.

Fall fest in Jerez

Once again fall is knocking at our door and it brings more and more activities to Jerez. Here you can read the program of this years´ edition of the fest.

15th to th 19th of September: Medieval Market at Alameda Vieja (an old castle of the city).

21st of September: Horses exhibition at Parque González Hontoria. At 11 a.m. this exhibition will go for all the city center.

20th of September: Real Escuela del Arte Ecuestre, special show.

Flamenco, Tapas and Wine, daily (14th-22nd of September) at 9 p.m.

20th to the 22nd of September, Flamenco at Alameda Vieja (10 p.m.)

18th to the 21st of September, 15th international meeting of puppets on the street.

Noches de bohemia

Summer is here to stay. A wonderful weather with the typical heat of these dates (around 35 degrees)will welcome to a new serie of concerts that will be celebrated at the old castle in Jerez (Alameda Vieja). Program is quite attractive and all the different music stiles are included.

3rd Tango Festival in Jerez

Sevilla

The arrival of the Summer is amazing in Sevilla, even with the heat on the city you can see and enjoy much better the city. Lengualuz also organize trips to Sevilla, a charming city to enjoy. Here you have some pictures of Cathedral, Plaza de España and El Alcázar.

Feria de la Manzanilla (Sanlúcar) 2008

During this week you can enjoy of Feria de la Manzanilla in Sanlúcar de Barrameda (Cádiz). Curiously is the only one in Spain that let you enjoy the river beside what adds a nice and typical temperature while you are enjoying manzanilla, horses, dancing and fun.

Bob Dylan will play in Jerez

The living legend Bob Dylan will play in Jerez the next 8th of July. It will be a nice oportunity to see him playing live but remember that you can also learn spanish during the days that you are here. You are welcomed.

Feria del Caballo 2008

The next 27th of April a new Feria del Caballo will start. During seven days Jerez will be the center of Horse´s world. You can also enjoy gastronomy, dancing, drinking Sherry and learning spanish. Here you have a video of the last edition.

Riding Horses

This is another choice that Lengualuz offers to all the students. Here you can see Jennie (Sweden) practicing in Sanlucar de Barrameda, beside the beach, enjoying a wonderful weather and also learning spanish.

Moto GP Jerez 2008

King Juan Carlos the first of Spain said today that Jerez with its circuit is
considered to be the capital of motorcycling.

He was one of the 132.000 spectators on the MotoGP this year.

Enjoy Dani Pedrosa, Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo, Nick Hayden and the rest
of the pack in the famous “Dry Sack” curve after the long straight.

Kite Surfing in Sanlúcar

Is another choice that Lengualuz offers to the students, you can practice this sport an others in the area. Here you can see Martin, from Sweden, enjoying at the beach.

Semana Santa

Next Sunday Semana Santa will start, is the right time to enjoy the art of the images, the religious feeling and the Andalucia´s culture as well. It´s quite difficult to explain this, but you can better watch the next video and then you will probable understand what is this event about. In Jerez you can enjoy of one of the best ones of all Andalucia.

Festival de Jerez

Festival is on the line. Since yesterday Jerez is plenty of flamenco students and fans from all over the world. Shows, world premieres, lessons, gastronomy and culture pop up in every corner of the town. Here you have a video of a guitar solo. You are welcomed.

Festival de Jerez 2008

In a few days a new Festival de Jerez will start. Jerez will become a city plenty of activities dedicated to the flamenco art, shows, lessons, and a really good ambient on the streets can let you enjoy of the city and of the spanish language. Here you have a video of a Solea dance lesson.

Carnaval de Cádiz

Cadiz´s carnival has been, once more, an amazing party where you can find groups singing humouristic lyrics as well as people having fun. It´s a must for all the people that want to enjoy this typical southern Spain party. On the following video you can see the parade.

Lengualuz has new features, now you can also learn spanish and combine it learning Flamenco, flamenco guitar , riding horses and golf. See the following videos and pictures to know something else about this.

The flamenco school is Maria del Mar Moreno´s one, also called Jerez Puro, here you can see a video of one of her shows.








The guitar teacher is Manuel Lozano "El Carbonero", one of his students play this fandango after a few lessons with him.
